Saturday Night Live!!! Join us for a night of Praise, Worship and a Word next Saturday Night, March 13th, 2010 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Ashyana Banquets located at 1620 West 75th Street in Downers Grove, IL. There will not be Sunday Morning Worship Services at 7:30 am or 10:00 am March 14th. This is a great opportunity for you to invite friends & family who could not otherwise join us on Sunday Morning. “Bet you never thought church would be like this!”
Deerbrook Nursing Home: The ministerial staff will be teaching Bible Study at Deerbrook Nursing Home, Wednesday, March 10 and 24 from 5:45 pm – 6:30 pm. In addition, we are seeking volunteers to assist us with hosting activities Tuesday, March 16 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. If you are interested in supporting either of these events, please join us. Young Adults Launch: The Young Adults Ministry is launching!! This ministry promotes a lifestyle of fellowship and spiritual growth as we strive to keep it “real”. Mark your calendars to join us Friday, March 19 from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. The gathering will be held at our South campus location, CVCA, 2100 E. 87 Street in Chicago.
Victorious Women: Training will be held Friday, March 19, 2010 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Highpoint Friendship Center and Saturday, March 20, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am in the CVCA restaurant. The topic for the discussion will be “God’s Rules for Living”, based on Romans 12. Please join us for this interactive and engaging discussion. Registration will take place immediately following morning worship.
Launch Party – Young Adults: Please join us for our official Launch Bowling Party Event, Saturday, March 20 from 12:00 – 5:00 pm at Seven Ten Lanes, 1055 E. 55 Street, Chicago (Hyde Park), IL. There is a non-refundable fee of $15 for this event which includes food, beverages, shoe rental and 4 hours of unlimited bowling. Registration will be held immediately following service and you must be 18 years or older to register.
Girls Night Out: The Crowned Jewels Ministry would like to invite all mothers and daughters (ages 12-18) to a “Girls Night Out”! This event will be an evening of fun, fellowship and discussion time. The event will be held Saturday, March 20 from 5:30pm – 8:30 pm at Fire Station #5,1900 Rodeo Dr., Bolingbrook, IL. Registration will take place immediately following the worship service. Symmetry: The Symmetry session, for married/engaged couples, will be held March 26, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Double Tree Hotel, 1909 Spring Rd., Oak Brook, IL. The discussion will focus on “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “Crazy Love”. Please join us for this informative session!
Women Job Seekers: The Career Ministry would like to invite all “women job seekers” to attend the Women for Hire Job Fair! The event will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Navy Pier in Chicago from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. We will be providing chartered transportation (from Bolingbrook, IL) lunch and a review of your resume. There is a $10 fee to attend this event. Registration will take place immediately following service in the foyer. Children’s Choir: Parents if you have a child between the ages of 3 – 12 and they enjoy singing, the children’s choir needs their voices. Rehearsals are held every Saturday.

Women’s Bible Study: The Crowned Jewels will host women’s bible study every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month in the Little Theater at the West (Romeoville) campus following the 7:30 am worship service. Please join us as we study the word of God.

Serving in ministry is a great way to meet other Victory Walkers and give God the glory in the process through serving. Da B.L.O.C.: Teens! Come out and join the Blessed Leaders of Christ at “Da B.L.O.C.”!! This ongoing event is for teens in grades 7–12. Meet us at High Point Friendship Center on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm, for a night of fun and fellowship. See you there!!!
